oil on a wooden panel 50x50cm.
Whisper of a Spring Storm
A breath of pale blue and white opens the canvas like sky before rain — soft, expansive, and expectant. From the lower corners, vibrant greens and yellows rise with intricate, organic textures that suggest new growth stirred by wind. Fine dark lines reach upward like stems or gusts, threading motion through the stillness. Scattered red and black marks add quiet tension, like distant thunder barely heard. Whisper of a Spring Storm captures the fleeting drama of early spring — a moment when the landscape holds its breath, alive with possibility.

“It was one of those days when the sun shines hot, and the wind blows cold:
when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.” C Dickens

I use oil pastels, oil sticks, markers, scrapers, charcoal, pigment sticks, newspaper, and graphite to make marks, whichever fits the moment
UV protected, signed on the back. The work is on a plywood panel and is ready to hang. No further framing is needed
