from within
These works have been born out of silence and tuning into the inner voice. I love silence, it allows me to be me, it allows me to live in my head. Words often fail me, I am not good with them, that I think is why I paint. Painting is how I express myself and I now find I am articulating the silence within me; in my work. So this latest series of works I have entitled ‘silence from within’
Turn each of your thoughts into a bird and let them fly to the other world.
One is an owl, one is a falcon, one is a crow. Each one is different from the others but they are all the same in silence.
Rumi
The works are in oil on wooden panel, I use oil pastel, oil sticks, markers and scrapers charcoal and pigment sticks, newspaper and graphite to make marks whichever fits the moment. All work is UV protected, Signed on the back. The work is on plywood panel and is ready to hang. No further framing is needed
I hope you enjoy them

spirit of the moor

a walk through the mists of time

song of spring

harmony

and so into Autumn

murmuring brook by ashar

through the mists of time

internal peace

late summer

infinity

wings of inevitability

stillness

into the silence

song the wise thrush sings

just beyond

the elation silence brings

still waters

softley whispering

Mist on the moor i

Mist on the moor ii

Mist on the moor iii

intangible silence

a breath of fresh air

song of the wind

whisper gently

As the noonday silence falls

Listen to the silence

frosty morning
