Oil on panel 20" x 20".
Night Flight moves like a current through deep blue air—restless, layered, and alive with quiet urgency. Swirling brushstrokes in navy and turquoise create a sense of depth and motion, while fine white and yellow lines trace paths like constellations or fleeting signals. Scattered bursts of red and orange punctuate the darkness, suggesting distant lights or moments of intensity. The composition evokes the sensation of traveling through unseen spaces, guided by instinct and atmosphere. This painting is a meditation on movement in shadow—where direction is felt, not seen, and the night hums with possibility.
The ' Letting Go' series of works took me into the sky; the movement of the night sky inspires this piece.
